Experts in the matter seem to think so and have evidence to prove so. This is a Reborn Threat that Emergency Managers, law enforcement agents, Correction Officers, Parole Officers, and Federal Agencies need to remember and take into account.

 

Gangs have plagued how prison system for a long time, but what can we do NOW to Stop Prison Radicalization?

When Petty thieves meet prison self-declared Imams and convert to "Islam" to seek protection, does it stop there?

 

What happens when they get out?

 

Experts seem to agree that some parolees will seek help from Mosques once they get out to help them get employment, housing and financial aid.

After the recent conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, we witnessed the speed and organizational skills of Hezbollah to help its people rebuild. Regardless of how we feel about the conflict and Hezbollah, we have to admit that their social agenda gained them hero status in the eyes of many.

 

Does our rehabilitation system compare to our enemy's social intervention?

Can we protect and keep parolees from entering that social structure?

 

We cannot keep hiding behind our bureaucratic approach to problems. This needs to be resolved YESTERDAY!

The belief that"The bad guys are doing it" "We are better than them!".

 

The glitch is "It works". AGAINST US!

 

We now have to ask ourselves whether we are going to spend time complaining about a bad situation that has been going on for years or are we going to find an better alternative for our parolees?

The first step toward recovery is accepting that we have a problem.
